We have used Fred's Lock 2 times now. He is so nice! His work is excellent.

The first time was when we were in Clayton and needed to add a high deadbolt since my little son was a let's escape out the front door kind of kid.

The second time was when we moved to Oakley and needed to re-key the whole place plus add a high deadbolt just to be on the safe side since we have another little one now.

Fred is a very experienced locksmith and has worked to re-key 6 locks on my house today. He is a perfectionist and was able to get the locks switched out and to turn smoothly (even on older locks). If there is a little hitch or snag when turning the key to unlock the door, he will work to make it perfect and smooth.

He is very diligent, competively priced and professional. His work van is pretty amazing too, reminds me of the Key Master in the movie The Matrix! He is also very nice and informative if you should wish to engage in conversation.

Called Fred to come and replace a panic bar for my business. This guy shows up right away, gave me 1/3rd of the price of everyone else. Professional, courteous and awesome work done. I called Fred because I needed a new deadbolt on the front door of my RV. Fred was very courteous on the phone. He called when he was on the way. He is knowledgeable, and works very efficiently. I am very pleased with the end result. I can definitely recommend Fred.

Fred did a great job repairing an old front door mortise lock which i didn't want to replace with a modern version. most locksmiths won't bother with old locks.

Fred just left my house and I couldn't be a more satisfied customer. I called him this morning after a not so pleasant dispute ended with a roomate moving out. He was en route to another job and we scheduled an appointment. He called me at the beginning of my appointment window to let me know that he was hung up at the other job and asked if we could push out the appointment. I'm glad that I was able to do so.

He is very professional and does an excellent job, but at the same time he treated me like a person...not just a wad of money.

I would reccomend him to anyone I know that needs a locksmith and will absolutely use him again if I ever need him. 5 stars.

Fred just came out to our house in Brentwood to repair a front door lock assembly.

As soon as he was done, my wife called to say, "Wow, you really know how to pick the right repair people!"

She said his rate was extremely fair and he's a nice guy. We have lots of experience using home repair vendors. In fact, some of my relatives that own rental properties happened to be there while Fred was doing the repair job. He immediately won them over as new customers.
